The Website is a job search site that seeks to connect employers with potential employees (the “Services”). We also collect personal data about you and utilize proprietary ad serving technology owned and operated by Job Rocket Resource, LLC (the “Technology”) to generate and present targeted advertising relevant to you and related to our network of advertisers, partners, and affiliates (our “Partners”). This Privacy Policy describes the kinds of information we collect about consumers on the Website and how we use and share that information. Consumers from whom we collect information are sometimes referred to as “you” or “your”, as applicable.

The Site offers job search-related products, services and content that connects employers with potential employees. We collect Personal Data about you and utilize proprietary ad serving technology on the Site (the “Technology”) to generate and present targeted advertising relevant to you and related to our network of advertisers, partners and affiliates (our “Partners”).

This Privacy Policy applies, when you: (a) access or use the Site; (b) access and/or view any blog posts, text, video and/or other information pertaining to employment matters, resume improvement and job listings, as well as related products and/or services, as made available on the Site (the “Informational Content”); (c) utilize the searchable database (“Database”) in order to view job listings (“Listings”) as made available by our third party employment advertising Partners (“Third-Party Employers”) (collectively, the “Listing Services”); and/or (d) utilize the various contact forms and/or contact information made available on the Site (“Contact Methods”) as a means to contact directly, or request to be contacted by, QuickJobFinder™ and/or Third-Party Employers in connection with certain Listings (collectively, the “Contact Services”). For purposes of this Privacy Policy, the Site, Informational Content, Database, Listings, Listing Services, Contact Methods and Contact Services shall be referred to, collectively, as the “Site Offerings.” IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO THE TERMS OF THIS PRIVACY POLICY IN THEIR ENTIRETY, YOU MAY NOT ACCESS OR OTHERWISE USE THE SITE OFFERINGS.

Please note, if you are located in a European Union Member State, you are not permitted to use the Site and/or Site Offerings.

The Personal Data we collect about you

When you sign up through the Site, we collect Personal Data from you in order to enable you to use the Site Offerings.

  • Marketing and Communications Data:This includes your preferences in receiving marketing materials from us and our Partners, and your communication preferences; and
  • Location Data:This includes geolocation data.

If you are based in the UK, technical, session and usage data acquired via our use of cookies constitutes Personal Data and we may collect the following:

  • Technical Data:This includes Internet Protocol (IP) address, cookies, the type of browser that you use (e.g., Safari, Chrome, Internet Explorer), the type of operating system that you use (e.g., Windows or iOS) and the domain name of your Internet;
  • Session Data:We utilize session replay software which captures certain aspects of a your interaction on the Site (including, but not limited to, mouse movements, clicks, typing, etc.); and/or
  • Usage Data:This includes information about how you use the Site and Partner websites and the advertising we serve on those venues (including how many times you viewed an ad, clicked on an ad etc.).

It is important that the Personal Data we hold about you is accurate. Please let us know if your Personal Data changes during your relationship with us.

Technical, Session and Usage Data

We collect technical, session and usage data regarding your behavior and usage patterns on the Site. How we use your Personal Data

We use Personal Data for the purposes set out below:

  • Monetization:Subject to compliance with applicable law, we will share your Personal Data with, and sell your Personal Data to, third parties, such as advertising Partners, ad networks, publishers, data providers and corporate affiliates in order to monetize traffic on the Site and to ensure that we are able to provide the Site Offerings at no direct cost to you. See below under ‘Sale of Personal Data to Third Parties’ for more information.
  • Internal Quality Assurance:We will use your Personal Data to conduct internal analysis to perform and improve the Site Offerings and the Technology;
  • Profiling and Data Mining:We will combine Personal Data that we collect about you with data we obtain from our Partners, ad networks, and/or other third-parties, such as data providers, including corporate affiliates, in order to create useful data sets. We may sell these data sets to third parties to provide you with the most relevant and useful job search results and accompanying advertisements when you use the Site Offerings;
  • QuickJobFinder™ Products and Services; Targeted Advertising: We will use Personal Data to market QuickJobFinder™ products and/or services to you, and to infer your eligibility for interest-, geographic- and demographic-based advertising campaigns;
  • Personalized Advertising Results:
    • to present you with advertisements tailored to interests you have shown; and/or
    • to determine whether you have seen a particular advertisement before so as to avoid sending you duplicate advertisements.
  • Fraud Detection:We will use primarily Technical Data, Session Data and Usage Data, but may also make use of other types of Personal Data to identify fraud and malicious activity on the Site;
  • Data Analytics:We will use your Personal Data for the following purposes;
    • to understand the patterns of people who see advertisements;
    • to provide insights and report back to our Partners, including statistical reporting in connection with activity on a website or mobile application, optimization of location of ad placement, ad performance, reach and frequency metrics, billing, and logging ads served on a particular day to a particular website or application;
    • to evaluate the probability and nature of connections between devices; and/or
    • to create online advertising models through lookalike modeling or similar research methodologies.
  • Identify whether an advertisement has been made previously: We will use Personal Data to inform us if an advertisement has been served to the same computer before, and if so, when the advertisement was served. This Technology is not used by us to build a profile of a user’s behavior nor is it used by us for the purposes of behavioral tracking or behavioral targeting.
  • Research:To conduct research;
  • Cookie assignment:To assign your computer one or more cookies when you visit one of our Partner websites, which enable us and our Partners to deliver targeted advertisements to you. This form of advertising is called “behavioral advertising” or “interest-based advertising.” We believe that such advertising is helpful because you will see ads that are relevant to your interests. However, if you would like to opt-out of these interest-based advertisements, please see the section entitled “Opting Out of Interest-Based Advertising” below.

Who we share your Personal Data with

We may share the Personal Data that we collect about you with certain third parties in the following circumstances:

  • Third-Party Service Providers:We use third-party business partners, operational service providers and subcontractors (“Service Providers”) to help us to operate and provide the Site Offerings and to comply with our legal and regulatory requirements. The Service Providers shall have access to our users’ Personal Data as needed to perform these functions for us acting as our data processors, but we do not permit them to use user Personal Data for other purposes. We may share your email address with an email verification services provider to confirm your email is valid.
  • Sale of Personal Data to Third Parties: We may rent, sell, or share your personal data with third parties. These third parties will include (a) providers of direct marketing services and applications, including lookup and reference, data enhancement, suppression and validation; (b) e-mail marketers; (c) telemarketers (where permitted by applicable law); and (d) direct marketers. If you are located in the UK we will only share your Personal Data with third parties for direct marketing purposes where we have your explicit consent to do so.
  • As Required by Law:We may share Personal Data with third parties (a) for legal process (e.g., in response to a subpoena or civil or criminal investigative demand, court order, or a request from law enforcement or other government agency or regulatory body); provided, however, that, where permitted by applicable law, we shall provide you with notice via e-mail , and opportunity to challenge the subpoena, prior to disclosure of any Personal Data pursuant to a subpoena; (b) to establish or exercise our legal rights; (c) to defend against legal claims; (d) to protect the security and integrity of our assets and businessoperations; and/or (e) as otherwise required by law. In addition, we may disclose your information when we believe it is appropriate in connection with: (i) efforts to investigate, prevent, or take other action regarding illegal activity, suspected fraud or other wrongdoing; (ii) to protect and defend the rights, property or safety of QuickJobFinder™, our Partners, our users, our employees, or others; and/or (iii) to comply with applicable law or cooperate with law enforcement
  • Corporate Transactions and Bankruptcy:We may also share your Personal Data with third parties if we are: (a) sold, merged with a third-party or acquired by a third party (collectively, “M&A Transactions”) (including where we share your Personal Data in connection with the due diligence process associated with a potential M&A Transaction); or (b) the subject of bankruptcy proceedings; provided, however, that if QuickJobFinder™ is involved in bankruptcy proceedings or an M&A Transaction, you will be notified via e-mail and/or a prominent notice will be shown on the Site if any change in ownership results in a change in the processing of your Personal Data.

Please note that this Privacy Policy does not cover any independent third party’s processing of your Personal Data information and you must check their privacy policy for details of how they will use and manage any Personal Data shared with them.

Please be aware of the following in respect of the third parties with whom we share Personal Data:

  • Independent Third Parties:Although we exercise care in selecting any independent Third Parties with which we share data and require them to protect information as mentioned above, they are independent third parties acting as data controllers and we are not responsible for their privacy practices.

Opting Out

Opting-Out of E-mail Marketing, Telemarketing and SMS Marketing

We will use your Personal Data to send you advertising and marketing materials via e-mail, text message and telephone. Please note that when you provide us with your contact details you are indicating you interest for our products and services, and we can therefore market our similar products or services to you unless you opt-out of receiving them. To opt-out of receiving e-mail marketing, telemarketing and other forms of communication from us, you can: (a) follow the instructions included in the applicable e-mail message, telephone call or other communication; or (b) e-mail us at: privacy@jobrocketresource.com.

To opt-out of receiving SMS text messages from us, you can: (i) text “STOP” to opt-out from future messages; or (b) e-mail us at: privacy@jobrocketresource.com.

Notwithstanding the foregoing, we may continue to contact you for the purpose of communicating information relating to your direct requests for Site Offerings, as well as to respond to any inquiry or request made by you. To opt-out of receiving Site Offerings-related and/or inquiry response-related messages from QuickJobFinder™, you must cease requesting and/or cease submitting inquiries to QuickJobFinder™ as applicable.

Opting-Out of Interest-Based Advertising

As noted above, the Technology uses cookies. You can change your browser settings to delete or disable cookies. If you choose to disable cookies, you may not be able to use certain features of the Site Offerings, certain features on our Partner websites that you visit and/or take full advantage of the Technology. You might be able to disable some, but not all, cookie tracking activity by utilizing the “Do Not Track” setting or feature with your internet browser.

Users can opt-out of receiving personalized ads from us and other third party advertisers and ad networks who are members of the Network Advertising Initiative (“NAI”). The NAI’s opt-out tool can be found here http://www.networkadvertising.org/choices/.

We comply with the Self-Regulatory Principles for Online Behavioral Advertising set forth by the Digital Advertising Alliance (“DAA”). Please note that if you use a different web browser, computer, clear, block, delete or restrict your cookies after opting out, you may need to repeat your choices.

Deleting, Modifying and Updating Your Information

At your request, we will: (a) inform you of what Personal Data we have on file for you; (b) update the Personal Data that we have on file for you; and/or (c) delete Personal Data that we hold on you. You may request this by e-mailing us at: privacy@jobrocketresource.com. Before processing such requests, we will ask users to identify themselves and specify the information requested to be accessed, corrected or removed. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we may decline to process requests that are unreasonably repetitive or systematic, require disproportionate technical effort, jeopardize the privacy of others or would be extremely impractical (for instance, requests concerning information residing on backup tapes). Individuals situated in the UK have additional data rights under UK data protection laws and should consult the ‘Additional UK Disclosures’ section.

Please be advised that by deleting your Personal Data you may terminate your access to certain of the Site Offerings. If you wish to continue using the full range of Site Offerings, you may not be able to delete all of the Personal Data that we have on file for you.

Please be further advised that, after you delete your Personal Data, residual copies may take a period of time before they are deleted from our active servers and may remain in our backup systems.

Security of Your Personal Data

We endeavor to safeguard and protect our users’ Personal Data. When you provide Personal Data to us, your Personal Data is protected both online and offline (to the extent that we maintain any personal information offline). Where our registration/application process prompts users to enter sensitive information such as driver license details, ID card numbers, health insurance information, data collected from an automated license plate recognition system, and credit card information, such data will be encrypted with advanced TLS (Transport Layer Security) when it is stored and transmitted.

Appropriate security measures are in place to ensure that your Personal Data is protected against unauthorized or unlawful processing. All of our users’ Personal Data is restricted in our offices, as well as the offices of our third-party service providers. Only authorized employees and third-party service providers who require user information to perform a specific job are granted access to user Personal Data. We are dedicated to ensuring the security and privacy of all user Personal Data. Employees not adhering to our data security policies are subject to disciplinary action. The servers that we store user personal information on are kept in a secure physical environment. We also have security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse and alteration of Personal Data under our control.

Please be advised, however, that while we take reasonable precautions to protect your data, no storage facility, technology, software, security protocols or data transmission over the Internet or via wireless networks can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. Computer hackers that circumvent our security measures may gain access to personal information, and technological bugs, errors and glitches may cause inadvertent disclosures of your Personal Data; provided, however, that any attempt to breach the security of the network, our servers, databases or other hardware or software may constitute a crime punishable by law. For the reasons mentioned above, we cannot warrant that your personal information will be absolutely secure. Any transmission of Personal Data at or through the Site, other Site Offerings or otherwise via the Internet or wireless networks, is done at your own risk.

In compliance with applicable laws, we shall notify you and any applicable regulatory agencies in the event that we learn of an information security breach in respect of your Personal Data. You will be notified promptly via e-mail in the event of such a breach. Please be advised that notice may be lawfully delayed in order to address the needs of law enforcement, determine the scope of network damage, and to engage in remedial measures.

Children’s Privacy

Visitors under eighteen (18) years of age are not permitted to use the Site. QuickJobFinder™ does not knowingly solicit or collect information from visitors under eighteen (18) years of age. QuickJobFinder™ is considered the “Data Controller” in connection with the Personal Data collected pursuant to this Privacy Policy for purposes of applicable data protection laws, including the United Kingdom General Data Protection Regulation (“UK GDPR”) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

Below are the types of lawful basis that we rely on to process your Personal Data:

  • Legitimate Interest:Where processing your Personal Data is necessary for our legitimate interest in conducting and managing our business to enable us to offer you the best services and products and provide the best user experience. We consider and balance any potential impact on you (both positive and negative) and your data rights before we process your Personal Data for our legitimate interests. International transfers

The Site and technology infrastructure are maintained in the United States and operates in accordance with UK GDPR. Please note that we may process your Personal Data outside the United States and in other countries outside the UK or the European Economic Area (EEA).

Whenever your Personal Data is transferred or stored outside of the UK or the EEA, we do so on the basis that appropriate safeguards are in place and we ensure a similar degree of protection is afforded to your Personal Data. We use data processing agreements based on the EU/EEA Standard Contractual Clauses or the UK International Data Transfer Agreement when we sharing data with Service Providers based outside the UK or the EEA.

Retention of your Personal Data

We will only retain information relating to you for as long as is necessary to fulfill the purposes we collected it for, including for the purposes of satisfying any legal, accounting, or reporting requirements. To determine the appropriate retention period for such information, we consider the amount, nature, and sensitivity of the information, the potential risk of harm from unauthorized use or disclosure of the information, the purposes for which we process your information and whether we can achieve those purposes through other means, and the applicable legal requirements. Unless contrary to applicable laws, our policy is to retain the non-aggregated information we collect from users for up to twenty-four (24) months, after which the data is either anonymized or deleted from our systems. This Site include links to third-party websites, plug-ins and applications (the “Third-Party Links”). However this Privacy Policy applies only to the Site. Clicking on Third-Party Links or enabling those connections may enable third parties to collect or share your Personal Data.
